As a child, Justin Sky would make toys from scratch that his family couldn't afford. This level of innovative creativity began to fully bloom through his passion for music and visual art. Born in Athens, Greece and raised in a small town in Southern California, Justin always had an affinity for “larger than life” concepts. His passion for the infinite nature of circles inspires his works and informs how he views life itself. Though Justin comes from small beginnings, he utilizes a large musical and visual canvas to paint the picture of our many realities. International main-stage performer at Festival Azure (Portugal), and former the emcee of LA supergroup, The West Coast Get Down, Sky has performed with such musical talents as Thundercat, Mickey Factz, Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, and Watsky, and has hosted and curated shows from Los Angeles to Portugal & Costa Rica. Sky has been billed in support of Grammy award winning artist Lupe Fiasco, and has maintained Los Angeles and international residencies. Justin weaves beautiful escapes with harsh realities in potent, melodic wanderlust. With musical and visual inspirations including Nas, Hans Zimmer, Kikuo Saito, and Tonia Calderon, Justin Sky breaks new ground on his own sound and sense, lush with rich, inventive textures.
