As a kid, Justin Sky would make toys from scratch that his family couldn't afford. This level of innovative creativity began to fully bloom through his passion for music and visual art. Though Justin comes from small beginnings, he utilizes a large musical canvas to paint the picture of our many realities. International main-stage performer at Festival Azure (Portugal), and former emcee of LA supergroup, The West Coast Get Down, Sky has performed with such musical talents as Thundercat, Mickey Factz, Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, and Watsky. Sky has been billed in support of Grammy award winning artist Lupe Fiasco, and has maintained Los Angeles and international residencies. Ever inspired by larger-than-life themes, Sky weaves beautiful escapes with harsh realities in potent, melodic wanderlust. With musical inspirations including Kanye West, Nas, Hans Zimmer and No I.D., Justin Sky breaks new ground on his own sound, lush with rich, inventive textures.
